Capitella teleta (Capitella Sp. I) is a species of segmented worms in the family Capitellidae. They are upward conveyors. Individuals can grow to 100 mm. They have parental care. Reproduction is iteroparous, gonochoristic, and semelparous. They are facultatively mobile animals.
