They are native to Rio Grande Do Sul, Pantanal, Pernambuco, Pampa, Espirito Santo, U.S. Virgin Islands, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Mato Grosso, AmazôNia, Acre (Brazil), Distrito Federal, Cerrado, GoiáS, SãO Paulo, Minas Gerais, RondôNia, Maranhao, Roraima, Sergipe, Tocantins, North America, The Contiguous United States, Alagoas, Puerto Rico, Pará, Paraná, Eastern North America, Rio De Janeiro, Mata Atlântica, Amapá, Santa Catarina, Bahia, and Caatinga. They have simple, broad leaves and green flowers. Individuals can grow to 3.3 feet.
