Setaria vulpiseta (Plains Bristlegrass) is a species of perennial herb in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Amazônia, Paraná, SãO Paulo, Piauí, Pantanal, Mata Atlântica, Mato Grosso, The Contiguous United States, Rio De Janeiro, Caatinga, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Bahia, Rio Grande Do Norte, GoiáS, Alagoas, Cerrado, Pernambuco, Espirito Santo, Rio Grande Do Sul, Minas Gerais, Santa Catarina, ParaíBa, and Maranhao. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 3 feet.
