Oplismenus compositus (Running Mountaingrass) is a species of perennial herb in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Paraná, Mata Atlântica, Rio De Janeiro, SãO Paulo, Cerrado, and Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 5.7 m.
