Fimbristylis dichotoma (Forked Fimbry) is a species of annual herb in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Pampa, Hawaii, Cerrado, U.S. Virgin Islands, Pantanal, Mata Atlântica, Puerto Rico, Amazônia, Caatinga, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.2 m.
