Euphorbia heterophylla (Mexican Fireplant) is a species of annual herb in the family Euphorbiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to GoiáS, Caatinga, Amazônia, Bahia, SãO Paulo, Rio De Janeiro, Roraima, RondôNia, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Amapá, ParaíBa, Maranhao, Alagoas, Ceará, Rio Grande Do Norte, Pará, The Contiguous United States, Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, Sergipe, Minas Gerais, Distrito Federal, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Espirito Santo, Santa Catarina, Pernambuco, Mato Grosso, and Tocantins. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Ascia monuste monuste, Great Southern White, Eristalinus tabanoides, and Florida or Tropical White. Individuals can grow to 0.89 m.
