Magnolia virginiana (Swamp Bay) is a species of tree in the family Magnoliaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, North America, United States, Florida, and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Arthromacra aenea, Common Eastern Bumblebee, Spicebush swallowtail, and Oxycopis thoracica. Individuals can grow to 60 feet.
