Sambucus canadensis (Canadian Elder) is a species of shrub in the family Adoxaceae. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Puerto Rico, and Eastern North America. They have white flowers and drupes. Flowers are visited by Chauliognathus marginatus, Common Oblique Syrphid, Scarlet Hover Fly, and Attagenus piceus. Individuals can grow to 7 feet.
