Papilio machaon (Old World Swallowtail) is a species of butterflies in the family swallowtail butterflies. They are native to the Palearctic and The Nearctic. They visit flowers of Butterfly Bush, Galactites tomentosus, Queen Anne's lace, and yarrow, milfoil. They are diurnal herbivores. They rely on flight to move around.
