The Western Amethyst Laccaria or Amethyst Deceiver is found with conifers in western North America.

I'm not sure which species it is. Also, it's not the best photo, but you can clearly see the pink gills, which is a feature of this genus. They look very similar and are very difficult to tell apart.Photographed in Mt Field National Park, along the Russell and Horseshoe Falls track.
