Allium (Onion) is a genus of herb in the family Amaryllidaceae. They are native to Canada, Alaska, The Contiguous United States, and Western North America. Flowers are visited by Brown-belted Bumblebee, Vanessa virginiensis, Red Admiral, and Scolia dubia dubia. Individuals can grow to 0.66 m.
