Body slender (body depth 5.9-7.8 times in SL); 6-11 black saddles extending from the middle of the sides across the dorsal mid-line on a whitish-yellowish background; a large roundish black blotch on caudal-fin base (Ref. 27732).

Schistura dorsizona is a species of ray-finned fish in the stone loach genus Schistura. It is known to occur in the Mekong basin in Laos and Cambodia, it is expected that it occurs in eastern Thailand too.
