Fragaria virginiana (Virginia Strawberry) is a species of perennial herb in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alaska, Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, The Contiguous United States, and Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Cerceris clypeata, Conophorus columbiensis, Cheilosia bigelowi, and Hemaris. Individuals can grow to 29 cm.
