Psidium guajava (Guava) is a species of shrub in the family myrtles. They are native to El Salvador, Jamaica, Costa Rica, The Dominican Republic, Saint Vincent And The Grenadines, Peru, Paraguay, Saint Barthelemy, French Guiana, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Netherlands Antilles, Ecuador, Saint Lucia, Mexico, The Neotropics, Guatemala, Panama, Saint Kitts And Nevis, Honduras, Barbados, Trinidad And Tobago, Dominica, Suriname, Argentina, Antigua And Barbuda, Belize, Anguilla, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Montserrat, Grenada, Venezuela, and Haiti. They have white flowers. Flowers are visited by Dingy Purplewing, Liotrigona bottegoi, Asian dwarf honey bee, and Melipona trinitatis. Individuals can grow to 25 feet.
