Willenz & Hajdu (2022) report the species distribution as "So far know from a narrow zone along the Peruvian coast, from Cancas, El Ñuro, Máncora, Punta Sal, Isla Lobos de Tierra and Islas Lobos de Afuera (03°55' S – Tumbes Region to 06°56' S – Lambayeque Region)".
