Popillia japonica (Japanese Beetle) is a species of beetles in the family Rutelidae. They are native to Asia. They visit flowers of blue giant hyssop, eastern purple coneflower, Glossy Rose, and white meadowsweet. Individuals can grow to 10 mm.
