Perennial, up to 15 (-20) cm long, procumbent with ascending branches. Leaves alternate, somewhat distant, obovate-cuneate, 5-10 mm long, 2-4 mm broad, entire or rarely shortly 3-lobed near the apex, obscurely veined, glabrous, fleshy. Racemes 10-20-flowered, slightly or not increasing in length in fruit. Flowers c. 3 mm across, white; pedicels up to 8 mm long in fruit, spreading or declinate, glabrous, filiform. Sepals c. 1.5 mm long, 1 mm broad. Petals c. 2.5 mm long, 1 mm broad. Stamens c. 1.4 : 1.7 mm long; anthers c. 0.3 mm. Siliculae 7-9 mm long, 9-11 mm broad; inflated, bibbed, glabrous; valves membranous, opaque, often pale lilac; septum c. 1 mm broad; style c. 0.7 mm long: seeds 1-2 in each locule, c. 2 mm long, 1 mm broad, ellipsoid, blackish.
