Lorica wall of two parts, an outer, yellowish, thick wall enclosing a thin, colorless wall that protrudes a short distance beyond opening of thick wall. Outer wall expanded anteriorly. Lorica 5-6.5 microns wide, 4.5-4.8 microns long, pore of outer lorica 1.8 microns dia., inner wall flared to 3.2 microns
