Physocarpus capitatus (Pacific Ninebark) is a species of shrub in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Alaska, and Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Milwaukee Andrena, Mitoura gryneus, Western Tiger Swallowtail, and Lasioglossum planatum. Individuals can grow to 8 feet.
