Zygosphaera hellenica is a species of Haptophyta in the family Calyptrosphaeraceae. They are native to Rio Grande Do Sul, Bahia, Paraná, Rio De Janeiro, SãO Paulo, and Espirito Santo. Dead Zygosphaera hellenica form calcareous oozes.
