Rhinolophus silvestris (Aellen, 1959) è un Pipistrello della famiglia dei Rinolofidi diffuso nell'Africa centrale.[1][2]
Pipistrello di medie dimensioni, con la lunghezza dell'avambraccio tra 50 e 56 mm, la lunghezza della coda tra 28 e 32 mm, la lunghezza delle orecchie tra 22 e 23 mm.[3]
La pelliccia è di lunghezza media, soffice e lanuginosa. Le parti dorsali sono bruno-ruggine, mentre le parti ventrali sono più chiare. Le orecchie sono relativamente corte. La foglia nasale presenta una lancetta triangolare con i bordi leggermente concavi e la punta smussata, il processo connettivo rotondo, più elevato della sella, la quale ha l'estremità larga e arrotondata, i margini concavi ed è priva di peli. La porzione anteriore copre interamente il muso ed ha un incavo centrale profondo. Il labbro inferiore è attraversato da un solco longitudinale profondo e due laterali meno distinti. Le membrane alari sono marroni, la prima falange del quarto dito è relativamente lunga. La coda è lunga ed inclusa completamente nell'ampio uropatagio. Il primo premolare superiore è situato all'interno della linea alveolare o talvolta è completamente assente.
Si rifugia all'interno di grotte, talvolta insieme ad altre specie di pipistrelli.
Si nutre di insetti.
Individui immaturi sono stati catturati nel mese di novembre.
Questa specie è conosciuta soltanto in tre località del Gabon orientale e in una del Congo meridionale.
Vive nelle foreste pluviali.
La IUCN Red List, considerata la mancanza di informazioni sufficienti sull'areale, i requisiti ecologici, le minacce e lo stato di conservazione, classifica R.silvestris come specie con dati insufficienti (DD).[1]

숲관박쥐(Rhinolophus silvestris)는 관박쥐과에 속하는 박쥐의 일종이다.[2] 콩고와 가봉에서 발견된다. 자연 서식지는 아열대 또는 열대 기후 지역의 습윤 저지대 숲과 동굴이다. 서식지 감소로 위협을 받고 있다.[1]
보통 크기의 박쥐로 전완장은 50~56mm이고 꼬리 길이는 28~32mm이다. 귀 길이는 22~23mm이다.[3]
동굴에서 은신하며, 다른 종과 함께 생활하기도 한다. 먹이는 곤충이다. 임신한 암컷이 11월에 포획된 기록이 있다.
가봉 동부의 세 군데 지역과 콩고 남부의 한 곳에서만 알려져 있다. 우림에서 서식한다.
