Tupaia tana (Large Tree Shrew) is a species of Mammal in the family Tupaiidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They are native to Asia. They are solitary, diurnal omnivores. Individuals can grow to 185 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on arboreal (locomotion) to move around.
