Agave (Agave) is a genus of shrub in the family Asparagaceae. They are native to Middle America, The Americas, The Contiguous United States, Atlantic And Gulf Coastal Plain (Agcp), U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. They have capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Lesser Long-nosed Bat, Manduca, Anna's Hummingbird, and Hog-nosed Bat. Individuals can grow to 1.5 m.
