Gleditsia triacanthos (Honey Locust) is a species of shrub in the family legumes. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and United States. They have yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Chalcosyrphus nemorum, Coelioxys alternata, Myolepta varipes, and Cerceris rufinoda. Individuals can grow to 70 feet.
