Nucula nitidosa (Shiny Nut Clam) is a species of mussels in the family nut shells. Dead Shiny Nut Clam form shallow marine sediments. They are surficial modifiers. They are detritivores. Individuals can grow to 5 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile burrowers.
