Montipora spongiosa (Ehrenberg 1834)

Montipora spongiosa (Pore Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family staghorn corals. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Pore Coral form shallow marine sediments. Pore Coral form marine reefs. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled.
