Theonella laena n. sp. Holotype, ZRC.POR.0278, dredged from 40 m depth in the Singapore Strait off Pulau Satumu (Raffles Lighthouse). The living sponge is translucent orange and thinly encrusting on intertwined shells of the sessile gastropod Tenagodus cf. sundaensis. Scale bar = 10 mm. Picture: Swee Cheng Lim
