Plectrophenax nivalis (Snow Bunting) is a species of birds in the family calcariid buntings. They are native to the Palearctic and The Nearctic. They are diurnal carnivores. They have parental care (pair provides care, paternal care, and female provides care). They rely on flight to move around.
