Aquila chrysaetos (Golden Eagle) is a species of birds in the family Accipitridae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They are native to Ethiopia, The Nearctic, the Palearctic, and United States. They visit flowers of California Buckwheat. They are diurnal carnivores. They have parental care (paternal care, occasionally breeds cooperatively, and female provides care). They rely on flight to move around.

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled.
