Dendostrea sandvichensis (G. B. Sowerby II 1871)

Dendostrea sandvichensis is a species of mussels in the family Ostreidae. This species is extinct. They are native to Saint Lucia. Adult Dendostrea sandvichensis form marine reefs. Individuals could grow to 22 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
