Lyrocardium aurantiacum (A. Adams & Reeve 1850)

Lyrocardium aurantiacum is a species of mussels in the family Cardiidae. Dead Lyrocardium aurantiacum form shallow marine sediments. They are surficial modifiers. Individuals can grow to 41.2 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
