Abra aequalis (Common Atlantic Abra) is a species of mussels in the family Semelidae. Dead Common Atlantic Abra form shallow marine sediments. They are surficial modifiers. Individuals can grow to 12.5 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
