Astreopora expansa is a species of cnidarians in the family staghorn corals. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Astreopora expansa form shallow marine sediments. Astreopora expansa form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
