Periphylla periphylla (Helmet Jelly ) is a species of cnidarians in the family Periphyllid. They are native to The Neotropics, The Nearctic, Asia, the Palearctic, Antarctica, Atlantic Ocean, Ethiopia, Indian Ocean, Australia, Pacific Ocean, and Mediterranean Sea. They are solitary carnivores. Individuals can grow to 145 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They rely on swimming to move around.
