Spherical, subspherical to subtriangular spores with tapering posterior end; two spherical or subspherical polar capsules, usually divergent, set apart in anterior of spore; polar capsules not in plane of suture; suture usually sinuous; some genera with spore projections; trophozoites mono- to polysporous; coelozoic in the urinary tract of marine fishes.
