Sphyrna mokarran (Great Hammerhead) is a species of modern sharks in the family hammerhead sharks. They are listed as critically endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. They are native to Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, and Indian Ocean. They are solitary carnivores. Individuals can grow to 610 cm. Reproduction is iteroparous and viviparous. They rely on swimming and carcharhiniform to move around.
