Phoxinus phoxinus (Minnow) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family Leuciscidae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Lithuania, Denmark, Luxembourg, Poland, Turkey, Montenegro, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Italy, Romania, Slovakia, Mongolia, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Latvia, Slovenia, Belarus, Belgium, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Germany, Switzerland, South Korea, Macedonia, Moldova, Finland, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Liechtenstein, The Netherlands, Sweden, North Korea, United Kingdom, China, France, Serbia, Albania, Norway, Bulgaria, Georgia, Spain, and Russia. Individuals can grow to 14 cm. They have sexual reproduction.
