Coreopsis tinctoria (Golden Tickseed) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Western pygmy blue butterfly, Pearl Crescent, Disonycha triangularis, and Hackberry Emperor. Individuals can grow to 3 feet.
