Lobophyllia valenciennesii (Valenciennes' Root Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family Lobophylliidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Valenciennes' Root Coral form shallow marine sediments. Valenciennes' Root Coral form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled.
