Salix alba (White Willow) is a species of tree in the family Salicaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Cheilosia albipila, Eoseristalis abusivus, Criorhina floccosa, and Melanostoma scalare. Individuals can grow to 70 feet.
