Doliocarpus dentatus is a species of shrub in the family Dilleniaceae. They are obligate climbers. They are native to Maranhao, Pernambuco, Minas Gerais, Pantanal, Distrito Federal, Alagoas, Ceará, SãO Paulo, RondôNia, Pará, Bahia, Rio Grande Do Norte, Paraná, Acre (Brazil), Mato Grosso, The Neotropics, Tocantins, ParaíBa, GoiáS, Mata Atlântica, Amazônia, Cerrado, Caatinga, and Espirito Santo. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 2.5 m.
