Macleania rupestris is a species of shrub in the family Ericaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Neotropics. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Golden-breasted Puffleg, Bluish Flower-piercer, Rainbow-bearded Thornbill, and White-sided Flower-piercer.
