Lantana camara (Lantana) is a species of shrub in the family Verbenaceae. They are climbers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to South America, Puerto Rico, US Minor Outlying Islands, U.S. Virgin Islands, The Neotropics, and Central America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Eastern Carpenter Bee, Strymon, Theagenes dichrous, and Monarch. Individuals can grow to 2.6 m.
