Nephrolepis cordifolia (Narrow Swordfern) is a species of perennial herb in the family sword ferns. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to RondôNia, Mata Atlântica, Rio Grande Do Sul, Minas Gerais, Distrito Federal, GoiáS, Pará, Bahia, Pan Tropic, SãO Paulo, Hawaii, Espirito Santo, Australia, Santa Catarina, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Pernambuco, Paraná, Acre (Brazil), and Rio De Janeiro. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 1 m. They have alternation of generations.
