Eurybia macrophylla (Bigleaf Aster) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and United States. They have simple, broad leaves, purple flowers, and achenes. Flowers are visited by Bombus impatiens, Eristalis transversa, Vespula, and Speyeria aphrodite. Individuals can grow to 1.5 m.
