Clypeostoma salpinx is a species of snails in the family Chilodontaidae. They are native to Natal and Mozambican Exclusive Economic Zone. Dead Clypeostoma salpinx form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 10 mm. They have sexual reproduction.
