Physalis philadelphica (Mexican Groundcherry) is a species of annual herb in the family nightshades. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have broad leaves and berry. Flowers are visited by Lasioglossum pectinatum, Tricolored Bumble Bee, Pure Green Augochlora, and Common Eastern Bumblebee.
