Persea humilis (Silk Bay) is a species of shrub in the family Lauraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN. They are native to The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Augochlorella aurata, Colletes nudus, Pure Green Augochlora, and Augochloropsis metallica. Individuals can grow to 19 m.
