Iris virginica (Virginia Iris) is a species of perennial herb in the family Iridaceae. They are native to Canada and The Contiguous United States. They have blue flowers and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Orange-tipped Wood-digger, Long-nosed Swamp Fly, Palamedes Swallowtail, and Common Eastern Bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 3.3 feet.
