Vernonia missurica (Missouri Ironweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States. They have purple flowers. Flowers are visited by Lemon Cuckoo Bumblebee, Viceroy, Vanessa cardui, and Two-spotted Long-horned Bee. Individuals can grow to 6 feet.
